Silicone Fiberglass Braided Sleeving

SB-SGS-40 is fiberglass braided sleeving impregnated with silicone resin/rubber and cured by high temperature. The silicone resin/rubber coating and thermal treatment give SB-SGS-40 a very good softness and elasticty, excellent high temperature resistance and good dieletric strength. The process has no significant environmental hazard.

These sleevings are used for all types of high temperature rated electrical equipment and appliances as primary insulation or as secondary reinforcing and protection for conductors in high heat zones and in areas of likely mechanical damage.

The high-quality sleeving is made from braided fibreglass and coated with a compound silicone rubber.
It's non-fraying and has excellent resistance to oils, fluids and aggressive chemical agents.

These sleeves are widely used as cable protection sleevings in vehicle wiring harnesses.

SB-SGS-40 Thermal Sleeving - 4.0kV grade

All SGS grades will retain flexibility within the temperature range 200°C, and will operate continuously at 200°C.
